• Paintings - Oil & acryl on canvas & wooden panel

On one side, i consider painting as a creative process that involves adding oils, acryl and raisins to canvas, wooden panel or whatever surface suitable.
On the other hand, the constructive creation or building is filled with intuitive processes - melting concepts.
The composition is expressed in line and construction (the reason) and the colour expressing feeling. While building an artwork, it is "shown" to me in all its different stages.

• Etching - Copper & zinc plates - ink on handmade paper

Etchings made on copper plates are in a way an artistic support or continuation of the oil and acryl paintings. Working with lines in this medium results in the artist simplifying, going to the essence, making a simplified poetic piece of art.

Etching makes a certain distance of your former artistic creation and makes another different form of your visions.

• Drawing

Drawings, sometimes strict and calculated, but with a certain "musicality", a fine game of charcoal lines of a "nature morte" or a cityscape. It's a kind mix of classical elements with and contemporary feeling.

• 3 D - wooden boxes painted & etched upon

The 3 dimensional artwork finds its roots in the micro and macro periods. Small wooden boxes with different compartments, showing the micro worlds of all kinds of insects and animals, standing next to the macro worlds of the sun, moon and starsigns.
