This series of paintings is situates the artist in his earthly surroundings and answers a few obvious questions. Where does the artist lives and works? In what environment is he living?

Well the area the artist is living, is a former peasant community that is well preserved over time.

Geographically the area is alluvial ground leaning onto the plateau of Brabant (Flanders).

Deze serie schilderijen situeert de kunstenaar in zijn aardse omgeving en beantwoordt enkele vragen als: waar woont en werkt de kunstenaar? In welke omgeving leeft hij?

De omgeving waar de kunstenaar leeft wordt gevormd door een voormalige boerengemeenschap die nog heel goed bewaard is gebleven.

Geografisch gezien ligt het op alluviale grond die tegen het plateau van Brabant (Vlaanderen) leunt.
