The western man is alienated from his spiritual history, from his pan-religious, biological origins.

The Cartesian science – read: “the western man” - knows a continuous evolution in time and space. It has an anti-alternative state of consciousness.

The "other world" - with its irregular time intervals, its feeling of timelessness, and its length of consciousness with its inner powers - is pushed aside by the “truths” of the empirical world.
